NOB

The wonderful history of Nob begins over 20 years ago with the birth of Nob Richardson. Young Nob was an extremely bright child and created his first nuclear reactor out of paper clips at the age of 5. He was well on his way to creating a cure to herpes when a genetic experiment he was testing on himself went astray. The genetic mutagen he was working on transformed him into a cross between David Helfgott (the guy portraid in Shine) and Bobcat Goldthwait. He would blert out paragraphs of nonsense that even he didn't understand. At the most inopportune time "ribble-dibble-scribble-dibble" would be whispered into the ear of the closest person to him.

The news of his genetic mishap spread world wide and students at a Bay Area high school began calling each other "Nob" whenever something stupid was said by the receiving party. The word caught on as fast as "phat" did. And thus this web site was named as a tribute to the man and the word, "Nob".
