Scene 1

Int. Jason’s house, bedroom: Jason performs a Kata [choreographed fight 1]. After his final movement he stands up straight and takes a deep breath.

Jason:

Ah... today will be a good day.

Scene 2

Ext. A secluded area next to a lamp post: Darkness. A time warp forms and deposits 7 individuals [special effects 1]

Mr. Fisher

We are here. Prepare to put Agenda into effect.

Scene3

Int. Jason’s house, kitchen: Mace Ryan stands next to the stair.

Mace:

(calling up the stairs)

So, are you done yet, we do have work today.

Jason:

(calling from up the stairs)

Hold on, I’m almost done. Why are you in such a hurry, anyway?

Mace:

I don’t know. I figure that since you were such a big star you should be to work on time for once.

Jason:

What the hell are you talking about?

Mace:

It’s all over the news papers today. That bust you did yesterday must’ve caught someone’s eye.

[Jason runs done the stairs]

Jason:

Oh no. Just because I take down a kingpin who just happens to be a major terrorist contributor, they put my face on the front page.

Mace:

That’s the price of fame.

Jason:

That does it. All of my cases from now on are a priority 1. That means no press releases at all. I hate being in the papers.

Mace:

Ah, come on, it’s not that bad. With the kind of work you do it’s good to get a little credit every once in a while.

Jason:

I still don’t like it, OK?

Mace:

Yeah sure, whatever.

Jason:

You never see them glorifying anyone else on the force, do you?

Mace:

Yeah, but we’re not like everyone else on the force. We’re special.

Jason:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Special forces division Dragon. I know, I been here for about three years.

Mace:

Anyway, it doesn’t say much. Just that you’re a hero and you’ll go down in history as one hell of a cop.

Jason:

Great. Just great. I just hop they spelled my name right.

Scene 4

Ext. Same as Scene 2: The seven men have set up a small tracking ops.

Fisher:

Is everything prepared?

Android:

Yes, Mr. Fisher.

Fisher:

Good. Prep for an ambush and attack. Send only one android out. I want to see how good this Reese kid is anyway.

Android:

Understood, sir. Preparations will be made. The Android will be ready in 15 minutes.

Fisher:

Good. Very good. Soon He’ll be dead and I’ll be paid.

[Fisher laughs]

Scene 5

Ext. Along an ordinary road: The android searches for a car. Upon finding one with out an alarm, he breaks in and hot wires it. He drives off.

Scene 6

Ext. In Mace’s car: Jason and Mace are driving. Mace has control of the car.

Jason:

Can you drive any slower?!? I thought you didn’t want to be late?

Mace:

Oh stop your whining. I’m just following the speed limit.

Jason:

Great. Just great. Wake me when we get there.

[The Android in the stolen car flies past Mace’s car.

Jason:

See? Now why can’t you drive like that?

Mace:

You know, we don’t have to give him a ticket. Technically, we don’t have jurisdiction here.

Jason:

(pause)

No. I want to bust him. After all, a speed limit is a speed limit.

Mace:

Now you’re learning.

[Mace speed up the car {chase 1}]

[car chase dialogue]

Jason:

(yelling at the android)

Hey! Pull over! I want to talk to you!

[The android speeds up]

Oh man! Why does he want to be difficult.

Mace:

Let’s see if he can to 90.

Jason:

I have an idea. Pull up next to him and keep it steady.

Mace:

Why, what are you going to do?

Jason:

Oh nothing... just jump onto his car.

Mace:

Oh.

Jason:

[Jason unbuckles his seat belt and opens the door]

Wish me luck.

Mace:

Hell no, I want a new partner.

Jason:

Thanks a lot you bastard.

Mace:

And then some.

[Jason jumps onto the other car and pulls his gun]

Jason:

Pull the car over now! Please!

[The android complies. Jason gets off the car and holds the gun on him]

Jason:

Get out of the car and put your hands on top of your head.

[The android complies. Jason pulls out his handcuffs but drops them. He bends down and for the second Jason pulls his eyes off the android, the android kicks Jason in the face and takes off running.]

Jason:

Damn! Here we go!

[Jason runs after the android {chase 2}]

[Jason catches the android]

Jason:

[with gun drawn]

Not only have you resisted arrest but you’ve pissed me off! Now you have a choice, on the ground now or die!

[The android complies]

[Mace runs up behind Jason]

Mace:

Having fun?

Jason:

Yeah, it’s nap time for this guy.

Mace:

Just get him quick, we’re late for work.

Jason:

OK pal, get up and this time no kicking!

[the android doesn’t move]

Hello?

[still nothing]

Anyone home?

[Jason checks the body. It is dead]

Damn!

Mace:

Just great. Sinclare is going to have a field day with us.

Scene 7

Ext. Same as Scene 2: Fisher and the android are looking at a computer screen.

Fisher:

Was the mission a success?

Android:

No. He was apprehended and committed self termination to escape being caught.

Fisher:

I guess it is all for the best. We can’t have little Reese finding out about us before we want him too.

Android:

Of course, sir.

Fisher:

Send out two more. Maybe that’ll be enough. Make sure they find where he live. I don’t want to lose them without getting anywhere.

Android:

Yes, sir.

Fisher:

I know it’ll be hard to find him, especially since the only thing we know about him is in this newspaper clipping.

[Fisher looks at the same newspaper clipping that was discussed in Scene 3]

The man who completely destroys my boss’s operation only had one thing printed about him. Too bad all of his records were destroyed in The Fire. It would’ve been so much easier for me.

Android:

The two you requested are ready, sir.

Fisher:

Good, send them out.

Android:

Yes, sir.

Scene 8

Ext. Mace’s car: Mace and Jason are sitting on the hood eating lunch.

Jason:

I can’t believe Sinclare got that mad at us.

Mace:

Well...we were late.

Jason:

Who cares! We were busy busting someone.

Mace:

Yeah, but he’s dead.

Jason:

Oh, what?!? Are they going to blame that on me?!? This force is really pissing me off. Maybe I should quit.

Mace:

Now wait a minute. What are you talking about? You’ve just had a bad day. Maybe you should take the rest of the day off. Think about it.

Jason:

...

Mace:

Don’t worry, I’ll cover you.

Jason:

(long pause)

OK...drop me off at my house.

Mace:

Good.

[They take off in the car]

Scene 9

Int. Jason’s house: Jason is staring at the TV. The TV is static snow.

[Jason turns off the TV and goes to the stairs. The lights go off.]

Jason:

Oh shit.

[Jason hears footsteps from behind. He hides on the stairs and waits. As soon as one of the androids comes around the corner, Jason kicks him. Jason runs up the stairs to his bedroom. The other android shoots at Jason and misses. Jason gets his gun off of the dresser and shoots the Android. Jason walks over to the Android and take off his mask.]

Jason:

No way.

Scene 10

Int. Mace’s house: Mace is watching TV. There is knock on the front door. Mace goes and opens it. It is Jason.

Jason:

Where is he?

Mace:

Who?

Jason:

You’re roommate!

[time passes]

Mace:

I don’t understand.

Jason:

I was just attacked and they both looked like him.

[Jason points to Mace’s roommate Mark]

Mark:

Me? But I’ve been here the whole time.

Mace:

Yeah, I don’t know what you do on your days off but you should stop. It’s messing with your brain.

Jason:

I don’t know what’s going on but the attacker were also robots.

Mark:

What?

Jason:

And one of them had this on them.

[Jason pulls out a computer disk]

Mark:

Let me have that.

Jason:

Mace?

Mace:

Let him have it, when it comes to computers this guy is a Genius.

[Jason give Mark the disk. Mark runs out of the room]

Jason:

Can I trust this guy.

Mace:

Definitely.

[Inside the computer room]

[Mark puts the disk in and boots up the computer. He checks the disk. It has 100 Gigs of space on it]

Mark:

Damn. Hey guys come in here!

[Mace and Jason enter the room]

Look at this.

[Mark opens a file named Agenda]

Mace:

What is it?

Mark:

(reading the screen)

Effective may 13... $13 million upon termination... Retrieval time is 0600 hours on June the 15, 1996... Signed Gladamere. What?!?

Mace:

What? What is it?

Mark:

This was dated May 5, 2063.

Jason:

Um... what?

[Later in the living room]

So what you’re telling me is that this Gladamere guy had this assassin named Fisher travel back through time to kill me because I busted him about 60 years from now.

Mark:

Yep.

Jason:

And only certain people can travel through time.

Mark:

Yes, they have to have a certain brain wave patter or else they’ll go crazy from the trip. In the future, The United Countries searched for those who were qualified. Only 76 people in the whole world wear able to travel through time. The UC was able to convince 75 of them to not abuse the power. They formed a group called the TTP. Time Travel Protectors. But one of those qualified did not join.

Jason:

Fisher.

Mark:

Right, apparently he went to work for Gladamere and became a time assassin. You’re his first hit.

Jason:

If you need a certain brain wave patter, or whatever, why were the androids able to go through?

Mark:

Well, the androids don’t have brains, so they don’t go crazy from the trip. Fisher would’ve also been able to bring future guns and weapons also.

Jason:

Great. Oh yeah, why did the androids look like you?

Mark:

I guess I created them in the future.

Mace:

I know that brain of yours would end up in the wrong hands.

Mark:

Blow me.

Mace:

Do you want some, come here!

Mark:

Anytime, right here, right now!

Mace:

Fine!

Jason:

Guys!!! Stop it! Damn, it’s just like a bunch of little kids.

Mace:

But he started it.

Jason:

Screw it, I’m going home.

[Jason leaves]

Scene 11

Ext. Same as Scene 2: The androids are taking down the equipment.

Fisher:

You sent VP302!?! HE was the one with the disk! By now Reese should know everything!

Android:

He was the best qualified, sir.

Fisher:

That is no excuse!

Android:

They were able to pinpoint Jason Reese’s house.

Fisher:

At least some good came out of this. Retrieval is in five hours. I want him dead in four. Prep the remaining droids for a final kill. I don’t want any mistakes, understood?

Android:

Yes, sir.

Scene 12

Int. Jason’s house: Jason walks in and takes off his coat.

Jason:

What a day.

[Jason hears something from the back door]

(whispering)

Oh great, not again.

[Jason pulls out his gun]

[Fight 2]

[Summary for fight 2: Jason shoots all of the androids without getting shot himself]

Fisher:

(from behind Jason)

Nice shooting.

{Fisher shoots, Jason tries to dodge but gets hit in the arm]

It is a fitting end to you Reese. You would’ve caused my employer a lot of heart ache.

Jason:

I still will.

Fisher:

Tsk, Tsk. But alas, you would cause any heart ache again.

[Fisher aims the gun at Jason. Jason pulls out another gun with his good arm and shoots the gun out of Fishers hand. Fisher is startled and runs away.]

Jason:

What a chicken.

[Jason looks at one of the androids and finds a grenade. Then he looks at his watch: 5:30 AM. He stumbles over to the phone and dials Mace’s house]

Mace, this is Jason. Ask Mark where the retrieval sight is.

Scene 13

Ext. Near a small park: Fisher is waiting for the time warp to appear.

Fisher:

Two more minutes and I’ll be back with more droids and he will die. The boss will be pissed but I’ll get the job done. I simply underestimated this Reese character.

Jason:

Damn straight.

Fisher:

Oh good, now I can finish the job before I leave.

Jason:

Not quite.

[fight 3]

[summary of fight 3: Jason and Fisher fight but Fisher gains the upper hand.]

Fisher:

[He looks down at his watch]

Sorry, to leave so soon but I have a date with the future. Don’t worry though, I’ll be back soon enough. Toodaloo.

Jason:

Hey Fisher.

Fisher:

(startled by Jason knowing his name)

Huh?

Jason:

Blow me!

[Jason throws the grenade at Fisher. The Time warp opens at the exact time the grenade hits Fisher [Special effects 2]

Jason:

(laughs)

Scene 14

Int. Mace’s house: Mark, Jason, and Mace sit around talking about what happened.

Mark:

According to what you told us, the grenade must’ve gone with Fisher and destroyed the time warp machine.

Jason:

Good plan, huh?

Mace:

I’m just glad you didn’t get yourself killed.

Jason:

What happened to the androids I killed.

Mark:

Well, it appears that once the retrieval time lapses, anything that originally came through and is not at the retrieval location vanishes forever. The go into another dimension or are lost in time or something. It was kind of sketchy. I’ll have to look at it some more.

Jason:

But if the droids were lost in time, wouldn’t the disk be too?

Mark:

(a worried look comes over his face)

[Mark runs into the computer room]

(from the computer room)

Oh no!!!!

[Mace and Jason look at each other and start to laugh]

The End
